      Description Shipping
      TOTAL HBF 4 is designed for use in conventional hydraulic brake and clutch systems of all vehicles where DOT 4 synthetic fluids are required.

      It provides additional safety margin against 'vapouir lock" in braking compared to a DOT 3 fluid.

      Miscible with all other synthetic fluids of similar quality. Not miscible with mineral based fluids(LHM) and silicon based fluids.
      Benefits:
      • High boiling points and extremely low volatility prevents from "vapour lock" and maintains braking response.
      • High thermal and oxidation stability resists to fluid degradaation and hence ensures reliable operation in sever conditions.
      • Good resistance to moisture absorption to avoid boiling point degradation.
      • Appropriate viscosity applicable at cold as well as high temperatures.
      • Excellent corrosion protection for metals used in braking systems : cast iron, aluminium, steel, copper, brass etc.
      • Compatible with rubber seals and hoses.
